7 Bizarre Pictures and Videos Proves ‘Time Travel Exists’
Time travel is a staple of science fiction – but there’s one big argument against the idea it’ll ever be invented.
Why aren’t time travellers already here?
Well, they actually might be, according to a list and video compiled by paranormal and UFO site Before It’s News.
We’re a pretty sceptical lot at Metro, but some of these strange events (like Charlie Chaplin’s mobile phone) really are a bit odd.
Others are clearly made up.
Nigel Watson, paranormal expert and author of the UFO Investigations Manual, ‘Would time travelers from the future really be using cell phones? Wouldn’t they use something more sophisticated and less visible? Then again Dr Who still uses a sonic screwdriver and that is so 20th Century…’
1. The nineteenth century CD
This nineteenth century photo seems to show a bunch of people clustered round a CD.
Sadly, it’s at least a century before ‘Brothers in Arms’ by Dire Straits.
2. The time-travelling hipster
This man – in a photo from 1941 – has come to be known as the ‘time-travelling hipster’.
3. The man who was run over by a car in 1950… but had pockets full of 19th Century money

4. The ‘time tunnel’ in a U.S. Air Force base
Did American Air Force experiments lead to a ‘hole ripped in space and time’ in 1983?
Almost certainly not, but lots of maniacs believe that there were strange goings-on at Montauk Air Station – and that includes one worker who uncovered ‘repressed memories’ of a trip back to 1943.
5. The U.S. navy ship which travelled back in time
Did a U.S. Navy ship jump back in time in a botched teleportation experiment?
Well, no. But lots of people believe it.
6. The British Air Marshall who says he travelled in time
British Air Marshall Sir Victor Goddard claimed to have travelled forward in time in 1935 – seeing a vision of an airfield as it would be in the future.
It should be pointed out that Goddard, in later life, became a big UFO fan who lectured on the subject. Go figure.
7. The Swiss watch found in an ancient Chinese tomb
This one seems like it’s an absolute definite, ‘Gotcha’ moment – a Swiss watch found inside an undisturbed 400-year-old tomb rom the Si Qing era.
Who else could have put it there BUT time travellers?
Sadly, it seems likely that the entire story was made up by mad people on the internet.
